Horizon Bathrooms

I know I've been (very) rubbish at posting lately, but I have been busy, honest!

For those who like bathrooms and bathroom fitters in the Milton Keynes area, then Horizon Bathrooms might be just for you!

It also just so happens that this is my latest bit of web development, and my first major Flash site, so please rip it apart and tell me about all the bits that you love and hate.

Eaton Bray updates

I've been having a busy time of it at work recently, which I'll share more of once the new stuff is released in September. In the mean time I've been keeping away from other computers as much as possible, but have had a chance for one or two updates to the Eaton Bray blog and St Mary's sites.

The new version of the Carnival website (being tested from http://test.ourcarnival.co.uk) is coming along, but I still need to get into Flash and finish off the pictures; those of you who have had a look at the Carnival 2005 pictures will hopefully have seen the new slideshow, and I've now got to get that implemented into the new site and showing pictures from all years. The final push will be making sure none of the current links into the site 404 which is going to take a bit of juggling with the new directory structure.

And when my head clears a bit I will update that BT Broadband Basic review...!

Carnival 2005 Pictures

Pictures from Carnival 2005 are now up on the St Mary's Village Carnival website. They are split into various 'albums', but it you start from the first one, the slide show will take you through all of the photos available.

Results from the day, including the procession, chainsaw carver and Clarabelle can be found on the Eaton Bray blog - see Carnival 2005 Results.

60 Years On - Edlesbray Players

The Edlesbray Players present a Review entitled "60 years on", to be held in Eaton Bray Village Hall on Saturday 7th May. Doors open at 7.30pm. Show starts at 8.00pm. Fish/chicken/vegiburger and chips included in ticket price of £7.50. Bring your own drink + glass.

St Mary's Eaton Bray - April updates

The April updates have now been added to the Church of St Mary the Virgin, Eaton Bray with Edlesborough website.

This month, they include the Vicar's Letter and information about the North Chilterns Group of Parishes of which St Mary's Eaton Bray with Edlesborough is a member. In addition the North Chilterns Group (NCG) events for the next few months have been added to the Diary page.

St Mary's Eaton Bray - March Updates

Just in time for next month, the March updates have now been uploaded to the St Mary's, Eaton Bray website.

These include March's Vicar's Letter, and details of Holy Week services around the parish. There is also a nod to the 2005 St Mary's Village Carnival, for which planning is already well underway.

Finally, a section containing previous Features has been added to help people find previous highlights from the site.

I've finally got round to restructuring and tidying up a few parts of my own Theo Gray site! This has been a long time coming, although I still need to do a write up of the Philip Lee and Edlesbray Players sites.

With the Edlesbray Players pantomime starting tomorrow evening (Thursday 20th-Sunday 23rd), at least my part as musical director is now mainly done, and I can hopefully sit back and enjoy (before having to get reviews and pictures up on the site this weekend...).

Ai Solutions currently host the Dive Aid website, and they have also included a section publicising the site in their latest newsletter.

This newsletter also includes details of the upcoming Health & Safety Seminar, to be held at the RAF Club in Piccadilly on 1st March 2005, and titled Managing Change in Health & Safety Practice.

Following on from yesterday's burst of motivation, it seems there's plenty more where that came from!

Today was the turn of the St Mary's Eaton Bray website which has been due its "monthly" update for a few days now. Still more to come this month, but the new pictures from Eileen are now up and the new content will follow as soon as I get it.

Edlesbray Players - Over a decade of panto fun!

It's amazing what a few days of relaxation can do to help motivate me into getting on with things. Now that Dive Aid has settled into a rhythm, it was time for me to get on with other projects, and today it was the turn of the Edlesbray Players.

The Players web should have been started a year ago, but unfortunately it wasn't until October 2004 that I received the content... and life has been very, very busy for the last few months. So finally I've got down to it, and the main pantomime content is now in. A bit of hunting through the Focus Magazine archives to find the missing critiques, and I can think about a new layout!

In 1993, a group of greenhorns decided to introduce a Pantomime into the Parish. Rules were set – anyone who wanted a part would get one - the entrance price and content would allow villages to bring their children... over a decade later, the Edlesbray Players are still going strong, with new talent coming through each year.

More updates to the St Mary's Eaton Bray parish web tonight... The church tour is now up and running (accessible from the home page), along with details of the services over Christmas, and the travelling crib has now set out on it's journey through the villages.

This one started out as a "small" side project, and has blossomed into a site to benefit the whole community.

St Mary the Virgin, is in the parish of Eaton Bray with Edlesborough (which comprises Eaton Bray, Edlesborough, Dagnall, Northall and Wellhead) in the Deanery of Dunstable, part of the St Albans Archdeaconry, which in turn is part of the St Albans diocese.
